So, Here’s the Dealio

So, for those of you who would rather not scroll down to the article from two days ago, I was informed I had won a contest sponsored by Ford (you can read about it here). Somehow I beat out a few other people, but I’m not sure how. Maybe it’s my writing style (woot!). At any rate, I just wanted to let you all know what this thing consists of. On Friday (9/18), a representative from the Ford Fleet Team will be dropping off a Tuxedo black, 2010 Taurus at my residence. From then until Monday, I will be documenting a LOT of happenings with myself & the car, from driving around town, showing off some features, to driving it to an NFL game (Vikings vs. Lions) at Ford Field, here in Detroit. Stated in part of the terms & conditions, I need to do four presentations on the equipment included on the Taurus, but I’m not worried. I’m a people person. Also, we get $150/night for two nights at a hotel. I need to reserve those soon. So, I get to drive around in a brand new, 2010 Ford Taurus for close to four days, doing basically free advertising for Ford & I also get to take my dad along for the weekend. Sweet. Like I said, they’re delivering the Taurus on Friday, somewhere between 8AM – 2PM. Of course, I’ll be taking photos from the beginning & will probably make a short post regarding my initial thoughts of it’s exterior & interior aesthetics, with a more detailed post to follow at some point.
