So, I received a proposition yesterday from my brother-in-law involving me going to Colorado for this year to take classes out there, help out around their house with the kids, et cetera. The only thing with this is I need to be 200% sure that whatever classes I take out there would effectively transfer to U of M the following year. I want to assure you all (mostly from Michigan) that this idea will most likely not happen, simply because I already know for a fact that the classes from OCC will transfer to U of M. Also, it is WAY too far for me to go, even just for a year. So, don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.
That being said, I’d like to say something else: I’ll probably be really uninvolved & such for at least the coming year. I REALLY need to concentrate on school, grades & whatnot. Don’t be worried or put-off or anything, it’s nothing against my friends, it’s just something I have to do in order to figure some stuff out. That’s about all the serious stuff anyway.
I’m up north right now, actually. It’s not as fun as last time, for some reason. Maybe it’s because the same friends aren’t up as were last time. Or possibly because there are four kids under the age of ten staying with us (not that I’m complaining, but seriously, kids under ten are NOT a quiet bunch). I’m not sure, it’s just not as enjoyable as the last time. I’m actually looking forward to coming home, finishing various projects, visiting with friends before the start of semester, & getting stuff ready for U of M. The only remotely fun thing that happened was Thursday night when I was tooling around on the dirtbike old man Crotan (only the Kozak’s & a few others will know who this is) stood at the end of his driveway & flagged me down so he could completely b***h me out & THEN ask me who I was. He’s an ex-cop (with not a good reputation) & talked to me like I was some 16 year old punk. Yesterday, my dad confronted him & Crotan was completely jovial about the entire encounter & sort of “let slip” that he may have had a few drinks before speaking (in load tones) with me. Whatever, that’s Crotan for you…
Anyway, we’re still at the Anchor (a small, new coffee house established two summers ago) but for how much longer I have no idea. But I have other things to attend to right now, so I’m out. Later.
